I WALK IN THE FOREST

TO CONNECT TO THE ENERGY OF THE EARTH WITH MY FEET

I STAND ON THE HILLTOP TO FEEL

THE STRENGTH OF MY BODY AGAINST THE WIND

I SIT IN THE RAIN TO ABSORB THE POWER OF WATER INTO MY SOUL

I REACH OUT FOR YOU TO SEE

ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE ME

You walk through my mind

sending waves of thought and feelings

shooting through my body

you talk to my mind

showing me all the wonders of me

that I sometimes forget to see

and thrill it with waves of ecstasy

all of this, you do to me

with your mind, your energy and your voice

I wait and dream of our bodies

touching for the first time

you walk across my mind leaving a trail of waves

I fall into them

and they float me away

to memories to come

of energy shared

I vibrate to you...come to me

as I come to you

see you out there

  3. Interesting, this reads like two poems in one.

Liked the down-to-Earth feel and sense of longing.

BTW - Thank you for commenting on "Unloving". In response to your questions:

"does not the act of dreading
    bring those thoughts to fruition?"

Yes, there is a certain element of self-fulfilling prophecy at work there. An elusive truth that you, being a Sagittarian sharp-shooter, sniped with ease.

    "she... must never have truly
    been insync

    maybe she thought
    in love
    you'd come into to light
    and let go the dark?"

Again, your intuition is dead-on. In retrospect, our temporary syncing must have been a provision of passion. And yes, she did honestly believe that she could alter the incontinent nature of this incarnate Ashura.

  4. you are right they are two poems
I should have made that clearer

In the moment so many things seem
perfect, in that slice of time
and it is only when time passes
do we see to other sides

and truly you can change no one
    but yourself
    and saying that
you changing changes everything around you
