Feeling With The Wind

It started out like a regular day

but in the end

you started to slip away

and when you went

the others floated up

reminding me of all I have lost

You are now gone

and in your wake

your family mourns

and I still sit and stare

upon the shore

of the sadness that was

I stood in the wind today

to feel the force of life

blowing through me

to remember to be present

in this moment

but memories keep coming

I let them

I hold them for a moment

then let them go

with the wind

Saying Goodbye ♥ to Brandy

he came to me when his owner died ~ when no one would take care of him ~ he stayed with me , and lived a complete new life ~home cooking, and important job as greeter at the clinic,  boat rides, frisbie playing , joyful days of off leash fun, never being alone again ~ today I had to let him go, back to her ~ Goodbye Brandy ♥ thank you for all you gave me in return 

his liver and heart failing there was no more joy to life
