I open my eyes and see

you seeing me

TODAY I AM THE WIND

It woke me from deep sleep

Calling to me to come with it.

It shook the trees 

and rattled the windows

'Till I answered its call...

To fly...to blow...to feel its force

To be at one with it.

So now I'm soaring and swirling

Gently and furiously

All at the same time

For today,

I AM THE WIND.
